Dangerous/Hazardous Goods

Hazardous Materials cannot be shipped using your World Options Portal. Courier will return shipments to sender if hazardous material is sent and this may incur possible charges.

FedEx may be able to do this via World Options however this is booked off portal and shipped via air freight.

The goods do have to be packed by a trained dangerous goods packer who will supply the Dangerous Goods Note for an air service.

Listed below are information required by FedEx for an off portal quote: 

• Complete collection and delivery addresses with contact names and phone numbers
• Number of packages with weight and dimensions
• Description of goods
• Customs value
• UN Number and / or MSDS sheet
• Packing Group and Class
• Confirmation whether the goods are classed as "accessible" or "inaccessible."

Please speak to the 154.Support Team for assistance on how to get a Hazardous Goods quotation outside the portal. A UN number or Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) will be needed to get a quotation.
