Thermal printer setup

Adding a thermal printer to the World Options portal allows Customers to streamline processes by giving you the ability to quickly print a label for all courier shipments. This will save time and remove the need to use a document sleeve to store the label.

Go to  Manage > Preferences then click on the PRINTING & OTHER SETTINGS heading

The zebra Gk420d is the recommended printer for World Options. The Zebra’s take 6 inch x 4 inch labels sizes.

Sending a label after setting up

Customers will need to ensure their thermal printer is set up correctly. If trying to send a label to a third party they will need to turn off the thermal printer and rebook to generate an A4 label.

To turn this feature off, you may go to the Preference tab > Printing & Other Setting. Remove the tick mark on the box beside Use My Thermal Printer To Print Labels. Once the feature is off, labels will not automatically print and you will be able to download a pdf copy.
