Ex Works - Customer carrier account

Ex Works (EXW) is a shipping arrangement in which a seller makes a product available at a specific location, but the buyer has to pay the transport costs.

Once buyers have their goods, they are responsible for other risks, such as loading the goods onto trucks/van, transferring them to a courier, ship or plane, and meeting customs regulations.

On the World Options portal you can bill charges to the receiver’s courier account and book a Ex works shipment on Step 5 (Billing Details) of booking a shipment and then selecting Transportation Chargers Bill to Receiver and entering receiver’s courier account number in the Account Number box.
